What are the chances of adding some kind of feature where we could off load our messages. I mean, I for one, have, I am embarassed to say, but in the thousands of messages.
I do not want to delete them, and at the same time I don't have the time to go through them all and see what I want to keep. I'd rather just save them all at once and forget them.

Re: Chances for an option to download messages...
Sun, March 27, 2005 - 8:14 PMHey,
I have the same problem, but I thought that the inbox only held 30 messages. How much does it hold anyway? -

Re: Chances for an option to download messages...
Sun, March 27, 2005 - 8:16 PMI am at 7ooo plus. I would like the option of going to the beginning of the messages and not have to page through from the latest. -

Re: Chances for an option to download messages...
Sun, March 27, 2005 - 10:23 PMI got my inbox down to 240 I think. It is the sent box that has well over 2000 in it. Then there is the saved box. I haven't look into that one.
Sandy go two or three pages in... look up at the address bar. You can see the page tabulated in the code.
something like: /messages?page=2&r=10513
Just start adding numbers to it. Since there are 15 messages per page, you are looking at something like page 465 or so to get to page one in your case.
I just want to download my messages periodically and not have to worry about cutting and pasting the ones I would like to keep. -

I just found out how that next button works. Turns out I have more in the inbox than previously thought.
Now I'm really with Tony as to how to archive this stuff. I dont want to delete any of it.

Re: Chances for an option to download messages...
Tue, April 5, 2005 - 3:07 PMif you go to edit your profile and look at the 'messages' tab you can have messages sent to you offline if you tick the box. i have everyone of my messages downloaded to my computers i use in a tribe folder specifically for that purpose.
